The Danish Parliament, Copenhagen

The building

The dining hall of The Danish Parliament has a function as a canteen for the members of the Parliament and the employees at Christiansborg. In addition to its daily function as a canteen, the dining hall houses employees and guests related to events in The Parliament, including parliamentary elections, group tours and member visits.

Christiansborg Castle has a history dating back 800 years, to which The Parliament has had its daily walk at the castle since the constitution was introduced in 1849.

Choice of floor solution

The dining room was constructed back in 1918 and has to this day, kept the beautiful surroundings with high panels and stucco ceilings. Here, our pattern parquet goes really nicely hand in hand with the old style and helps to create an expression with personality and soul.
