Campus Bornholm

The building

Campus Bornholm is an amalgamation of the island’s young and adult education programs. The project consisted mainly of a new construction, which was built on and around existing buildings. The complete education centre creates an attractive learning environment and provides a great opportunity for exchange and contact between the different fields of study. The building was constructed in 2018.

Choice of floor solution

The industrial parquet has a varying and rustic expression, which provides a great contrast to the other parts of the building. The natural colour variation of the ash tree fits well with the large and open areas, and ties together several rooms and floors in the most prominent way. There was chosen a robust and durable floor, which is perfect for an environment where there is great daily use.
