The Norwegian Theatre
The building
The Norwegian Theater showcases Norway at its best. Founded in 1912, the theatre opened its doors the following year. Since then, it has undergone some renovations, with HØRNING adding its floors in 1985. With its background, Det Norske Teatret represents stories – both past and new stories waiting to be expressed. HØRNING’s floors are coated with varnish, giving them a shiny appearance, as the architect wanted guests to be able to see themselves reflected in it.
Choice of floor solution
With its terrific background history, the theater will stand tall and stylish for many years to come. HØRNING prioritizes floors of quality and durability, which is why oak parquet was installed. The floors harmonize beautifully with the architecture of the building and warmly welcome guests to an experience they will hardly forget.
